Survival Armor Is A Necessity For Violent Emergency Situations

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Survival Prep Shop.

I’m delighted to join you in another invigorating discussion about all things survival. As we explore together, keep in mind that my advice comes from a place of personal practice and reflection. Today, we’ll delve into how to prepare for and protect yourself in the face of natural disasters and the chaos that can ensue.

Whenever a natural disaster strikes, you’ll see news headlines praising the bravery and goodness of many citizens. However, there’s always a darker side to these emergencies. There are individuals who are not present to help but to pursue their own interests aggressively. Such people emerge in great numbers to exploit or harm others, taking advantage of the disorder.

In such turbulence, looters are commonplace, threatening the safety and security of those they encounter. If food and water supplies dwindle, the situation can escalate to a mob mentality, with groups of angry people bent on destruction. They may attempt to seize your supplies or, worse, cause harm to you or your family without provocation. Throughout history, mobs have assaulted, robbed, and even murdered innocent bystanders.

To protect yourself and your loved ones, incorporating survival armor into your emergency kit is essential. One of the most effective pieces of protective gear is body armor, particularly vests designed for the upper torso. These vests typically feature slots for trauma plates made from materials like steel, ceramic, or titanium—key in deflecting knife attacks and stopping bullets.

Given that most assailants aim for the upper body, these vests are a popular choice. Crafted from Kevlar, a material made of layered synthetic fibers, these vests offer robust protection from the front, back, and sides. Some vests are equipped to hold plates that can withstand even machine gun fire. When purchasing a vest, particularly online, ensure it is genuine protective gear and not merely a ‘tactical’ gear-carrying vest, which can sometimes be misrepresented.

Beyond vests, consider additional armor like groin protectors with insertable soft armor pieces, helmets capable of withstanding bullets, and even bomb blankets designed to shield against shrapnel from pipe bombs and hand grenades.

We’ve reached the end of another informative exchange. If my personal experiences can shine a light on your own survival path, then I’m happy. Thank you for joining me and considering my take on these matters.

Thanks again.
